Vedder, Green Day on Ramones tribute album

Rob Zombie and Johnny Ramone are organizing a Ramones tribute album that is expected to include performances by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Green Day, the Offspring, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Rancid, Billboard reports.

Work on the album, which is expected in the spring, is already underway, with most of the recording to take place after the holiday season.

Pearl Jam fan circles are reporting that Vedder has already recorded "I Believe In Miracles" and one other song, backed by the Seattle band Zeke, the report said.

Meanwhile, Joey Ramone's posthumous solo album "Don't Worry About Me," is due out in Canada on Feb. 26 and a week earlier in the U.S.
